Step 3: Interview/Assessment
Once we have reviewed your completed application, we will contact you to discuss next steps, which may include an interview and student assessment.
Step 4: Admissions Decision
Each student's application is carefully considered by the administration. All discussions regarding applications are held in strict confidence. Admission decisions consider the student’s potential for success at SCS and the parents' desire for a Christ-centered education for their children. Parents will be notified of the admissions decision in person or in writing. Seton Catholic Schools will admit students according to the criteria and priority outlined in our Admissions Policy.
Step 5: Apply for Tuition Assistance (optional)
Visit the Tuition Assistance page for information and apply for tuition assistance through FACTS Grant & Aid, our third party aid assessment company. Applicants for the 2024-2025 school year may apply for tuition assistance after an accepted application for admission. FACTS charges a $35 fee to process your request. No official tuition assistance amounts will be awarded until after an admissions decision has been made.
Step 6: Arrange for Tuition Payment
Seton Catholic works with FACTS, a tuition management company to manage families’ tuition accounts. There are several options for payment plans outlined in the set-up process of a FACTS payment plan. All payment plans will begin in July or August for a student enrolled during the summer. If the tuition plan is set up in August, and the first payment is planned through FACTS for September, the August payment will be made directly to the school. Mid-year transfer students will also need to plan to make the first payment directly to the school, and all remaining payments through FACTS. If you choose to pay in full, payment must be made by July 1 for a student enrolling in the summer. Set up a payment plan with FACTS
Step 7: Enrollment
Completion of steps 1-6 completes the Admissions process. To finalize a student's enrollment, you will need to complete the enrollment packet which will be sent to you upon notification of admissions acceptance. The enrollment packet includes additional information about your student that we don't need to make an admissions decision, but that we will need to take the best possible care of your child.
If a student is enrolled during summer break, they will be prepared to start classes on the first day of school. If a student is a mid-year transfer student, the student is prepared to start classes on a date determined together by the parents and the principal. Additionally, students will be eligible to begin participating in extra-curricular activities, including athletics. (Athletes in grades 9-12 are subject to IHSAA transfer eligibility rules and will be addressed on a case specific basis.)
At Seton Catholic Schools, we look forward to working with you as you consider Seton Catholic for your family. If you have any questions, regarding enrollmentplease contact a school secretary. We look forward to talking with you.
